KVB Electric Barrel Pumps

KVB-25 Electric barrel pumps are hygienic vertical multistage cavity pumps. Drum pumps are specially designed to transfer high or low viscosity media from tanks and drums via a pump pipe inserted into the drum. Some of the most important applications of the type of KVB-25 barrel pumps are the transfer of fruit concentrates for beverage production, tomato concentrates for ketchup production, cream, honey and other high viscosity media.

ZP Air Piston Barrel Pumps

ZP Air Piston Barrel Pumps are designed as food pumps to meet the special demands of the food and cosmetics industries. Made of AISI 316L stainless steel with certified, carefully ground materials to make cleaning easy. The components of these variable flow pneumatic pumps that come into contact with the fluids are easily disassembled by hand without the need for any special tools.

Barrel pumps can be used for many different materials such as chemicals, oils, fuels, foodstuffs and other liquids.

Barrel pumps have a moving part, such as a piston, diaphragm, or rotor, to remove the fluid. By turning a lever or mechanism located at the top of the pump, the moving parts absorb the liquid in the barrel and transfer it to the outside.

Types of barrel pumps include:

  1. Lever Pumps: Lever pumps use a piston system to draw fluid. To operate the pump, it is necessary to turn a lever and this action draws the liquid into the chamber inside the piston. Then the liquid is transferred through the pipe or hose.
  2. Diaphragm Pumps: Diaphragm pumps use a diaphragm to suck up liquid. The diaphragm is located inside a pump body and is moved up and down by a mechanism. This action allows the diaphragm to absorb fluid and then expel it.
  3. Rotor Pumps: Rotor pumps use a rotating rotor to suck up liquid. The impellers of the rotor act to absorb the liquid and then transfer it to the outside via pipe or hose.
  4. Electric Drum Pumps: Electric drum pumps are powered by electric motors to suck up and transfer fluid to the outside. These pumps work faster and more efficiently than other types of drum pumps.

Barrel pumps are used in many different industrial applications. For example, they are used in the chemical industry, food industries, automotive industries, mining industries, petrochemical industries, garden irrigation systems and many more.
